Ladies Business Forum

The Calcutta Chamber of Commerce, set up way back in 1830, is the oldest business body in Asia. During the 175 years of its passage, the Chamber has largely contributed to the growth and development of trade, commerce and industry in this region of the country.

The Chamber has a ladies wing styled as “Ladies Business Forum (LBF) “where members are industrialists, professionals, exporters, educationists and the like from all over the Eastern Region.

The prime objective of the Forum is to promote entrepreneurship and managerial excellence among women. It also acts as a catalyst for the social and economic advancement of women.
